| Overview of the PPP situation in Eastern Europe and the East Mediterranean
26 March 2010 On 15 March 2010 The World Bank Institute’s PPP Program organized a videoconference for exchanging experiences and information on PPP Developments. Russia as the Eastern European region was represented by Vladimir Alexandrovich Korolev, First Vice-Rector, Higher School of Economics. His presentation can be accessed through this link. The “delegate” for the East Mediterranean region was Turkey represented by Pınar Varoğlu PPP Specialist of the Turkish Privatization Administration. M11/N25 Road PPP Tender in Ireland
25 March 2010 The National Roads Authority of Ireland published a Contract Notice for the M11/N25 PPP Contract. The PPP Contract comprises the design, construction, operation, maintenance and financing of approximately 40 kilometres of motorway/ dual carriageway forming part of the M11 and N25 national primary routes, together with several kilometres of associated side roads and link roads. The deadline for delivery of offers is 29 April 2010. The Cologne University Hospital has reached FC
24 March 2010 The start of the Cologne University Hospital project reaches back to 2006 when a feasibility study of an external consultant showed several organization models for the realization of the expansion of the hospital by cca 9 tsd sqm. A PPP scheme was selected as the most efficient model for the realization of this 75 mil EUR project. The international tender started in 2007 and in January 2010 the contract was signed with the winning private partner – VAMED.
