22 February 2010 The project worth is 175 mil EUR and is situated in the Veneto region – North of Italy should reach financial close by April 2010. PPP in Spain The Spanish Minister of Infrastructure Mr. Jose Blanco announced that the government will pay greater attention to PPP Projects as an effective form of investments into infrastructure. Rail projects should hence become a priority. The Spanish Ministry of Infrastructure in cooperation with European Investment Bank and the Institute of Credit and other financial organization is working on a new plan with the aim to let the private sector gain wider roles in infrastructure investments. The plan should be implemented in 2010 and 2011. More information and a detailed list of projects shall be released by the Ministry in the coming weeks. Source: Infra News |
