Michael joined ING in 1996 and is head of ING's Infrastructure Finance & Advisory Business in Europe. He has more than 20 years track record in infrastructure and utilities and has an extensive knowledge of public-private partnerships and concessions, economic regulation and other forms of privatised infrastructure. Michael previously worked for NatWest Markets for eight years, where he helped to establish a project advisory team. He started his career at PriceWaterhouse (now PwC) in
Australia, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

He graduated in Economics from the University of Adelaide, South Australia.
