Brett joined ING in September 2007 after 11 years at Commerzbank, where he was Head of Transport & PPP. His first major assignment at ING was working on the EUR 1 billion Hungarian M6 Phase III. Motorway, which was closed successfully in November 2007. While at Commerzbank, Brett led a number of pathfinder advisory and MLA roles in Germany, Hungary, Poland and the UK. Prior to joining Commerzbank, Brett worked for Westpac Banking Corporation for 8 years in London and Sydney in a number of roles including credit risk, origination and execution of leveraged and project financings as well as loan restructurings. Brett started his career at KPMG in New Zealand, where he provided accounting and tax services to small/medium sized clients as well as undertaking various corporate acquisition, business sale and insolvency assignments.
